ICOMOS Netherlands - World Heritage
The Netherlands is an active partner in the World Heritage Convention 1972. The Dutch government ratified the Convention in 1992 and drafted a tentative list, which is focused on four typical Dutch themes: relation Netherlands - water, the Golden Age, 17th century, the Modern Movement and archaeology. First object was listed in 1992. Since the Dutch list comprises 6 sites on the continent and 1 on the island of Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles.
